Frozen treats are a brilliant way to keep your dog hydrated and cool during warmer weather.

The action of licking is naturally soothing, slows eating down and provides mental enrichment and when what they’re licking is packed with real meat, fruit and vegetables, it’s a treat that actually does them good.

What could be more refreshing on a hot summers day than your pooches favourite Furr Boost, frozen and served as an icy treat.

Method:

Take your Furr Babies favourite Furr Boost, give the carton a good shake, open the top and pour into any popsicle mould, we have used a small bone shaped mould.

Add some additional treats for decoration, such as blueberries and place in the freezer until frozen through.

Get creative with Furr Boost and send us a photo of your Furr Baby enjoying their tasty treat.

Check out Puggy Smalls and Co, enjoying theirs. Nom, Nom, Nom….

TIPS

  • Add blueberries, strawberries or small pieces of banana for variety
  • Use silicon moulds for easy release — bone or paw shapes work brilliantly
  • Pop them out and store in a freezer bag for up to a month
  • Not suitable as a meal replacement — follow the feeding guidelines as a treat
