Our story began when our beagle Phoebe was facing some health issues linked to her diet. Read about why and how Furr Boost was created below. We're proud to be a small female-lead business in the UK. We hope you'll stick around and join our community of dog lovers.
Our Story
Hi, I'm Louise and this is my fur baby, Phoebe!
At the age of 18 months, our beagle Phoebe became unwell with bladder problems, which after investigations by her vet were linked to her dog food. Using my technical background as a Food Technologist, I started experimenting with protein shakes to help flush out Phoebe’s system and provide her with the hydration that she needed when she was refusing to drink enough water.
This led to the creation of Furr Boost! Each of our recipes contains a meat, fruit and vegetable, along with added oils and vitamins, so it’s more than a hydration drink, it supports your dog’s well-being in areas such as digestion, skin and coat, anxiety, metabolism and immunity! Phoebe is now happy and healthy and really looks forward to her tasty treat, which she gets daily. I’m so pleased that Furr Boost is now available for all dogs so no furr-friend is left out. I hope they enjoy it as much as Phoebe does.

Sustainability
Furr Boost are on a mission to ditch single use plastics and reduce our carbon footprint!
Recyclable Packaging
We use Tetra Pak® cartons which are widely recyclable in the UK, being primarily made of FSC certified paperboard. The single piece of packaging makes it smaller and more compact meaning less lorries on the road, contributing to a smaller carbon footprint for Furr Boost, and in turn, its valuable customers.
Reduced Emissions
Furr Boost uses Calor LPG to fuel our off-mains gas grid manufacturing operations, cutting energy costs and the factory’s environmental impact. This in turn, reduces our CO2 emissions. Furr Boost also have a flue gas economiser on the factory’s steam boiler which improves thermal efficiency..
